Hi everyone!
Welcome to my page.
It's about English Speaking.
Many people keep asking "Should I learn American English or British English?" "I don't want to sound like Chinglish."
Such concern is a common bother, especially when one is starting his or her journey of exploring this whole new world. One might have heard that well there are differences between American English or British English in terms of their pronunciations, like "water", and spellings, like "program v.s. programme". Some might even have known that they might share different expressions when describing the same thing.
So, before we get panicked by all these nuances that seem to be never-ending, maybe we could pause and ask, "Well, does it matter? If so, in what way?"
Thanks for your patient reading!
I hope to see your comments.
And I'll get back to it.
But most likely I prefer we could discuss this face to face.
Good day! :D
